I have a diversified professional experience that focuses on entrepreneurism. I began back in the early 80’s when I started, “Jack and Jill Pre-School” in Hillsboro, Oregon. I owned and operated it four years while raising a young family.
In 1990 I became the first independent General Manager for Jackson School Homeowner’s Association, the largest HOA in Hillsboro, (650+ homes). I oversaw the finances, architectural reviews, compliance, twenty employees, the recreational facilities and programs, and the 25 acres of greenways and 40 acres of forest wetlands. I established a Financial Reserve Program that allowed the HOA to run without additional assessments for the last 20 years. I worked with several colleges to establish a summer internship program for our recreational employees.
Upon moving to Central Oregon in 2000, I became the President of a physician exclusive nutraceutical company. I oversaw all the day-to-day operations, including the finances, employees, HR and the overall manufacturing and marketing decisions.
As an aside to managing the nutrceutical company, in 2006 I obtained my Real Estate Broker’s License to assist my husband with his work and currently work full time as a Broker.
I have had many enjoyable opportunities to serve my community throughout my career. I helped establish a WorkForce Grant for COBIC (Central Oregon BioScience Industries Consortium) 2008-2011 and served as its President for three years. I served as the first President for the Aspen Lakes Homeowners Association from 2004-2007, bridging the transition from a developer-operated to a homeowner- operated association. I served on the City of Sisters Budget Committee for 2005 and 2006. I also volunteered as the President of a church women’s community organization where we did out-reach for both local and global humanitarian needs.
My many various and unique experiences both professionally and in volunteering have led me to a place where I am doing now what I love best, helping others with their property needs and dreams. It is so much fun, it isn’t even work! I have a saying that has become my personal mantra, “When helping others, happiness happens!”
Well enough about me…. This is about you…. How can I help? Call me anytime!!
